Bowl #1

This is my very first coil bowl. It was completely hand-pinched and finished with an amber glaze.

About the artist:

That's me. My name is Jessica. I attend historic GC&SU in Milledgeville, GA. I'm a General Studio Art Major with a primary concentration in Ceramics and a secondary concentration in Photography. (I'm also a Criminal Justice minor for some odd reason...) I was in artistic denial for the first 2 1/2 years of college. Stereotypes of jobless artists and unsuccessful craftspeople were a major deterrent in the saga that was my major of choice. Despite the archetype, and after changing majors 5 times, I chose to major in my passion. Art makes me hungry. How ironic discerning artists are starving. These are my experiences. I'm doing what I love.
