Mega-Preggo.

I was so nervous to take these maternity pictures. I've had little experience with pregnancies of any sort, and shooting a pregnant woman was something that gave me the jitters. BUT! This chick was a TROOPER! Her husband also had knee surgery only a few weeks prior as well. Despite the challenges, they came through, and these look wonderful!

Congrats Grad!

After 5 years of major switching, test taking, essay writing, and all-nighters... FINALLY COMES GRADUATION! Congrats MJ! You look so handsome!

Bowl overload.

I have made so many bowls this semester... My parents (the adoptive bowl-parents) are having a serious bowl overload.

Testers.

These little guys are glaze testers for my tea-set. I think I'm going to Use Batz Clear (on the left). The Amber Glaze (a more dark, brown look) on the right just covers up the wonderful blue slip...

Lil' Bowl.

I love the glaze in/on this!

Mom's birthday bowl!

Often times, an artist has a vision. I used Majolica Glaze, and wanted to hand-paint the bowl. So I did. Annnnd the finished product wasn't quite what I was looking for, but I still went for it anyway. Regardless, my mom liked it. :)

Bowl #1

This is my very first coil bowl. It was completely hand-pinched and finished with an amber glaze.

Flannery

Living in Milledgeville, Ga, I have the luxury of visiting its historic cemetery. I have the honor of sitting with Miss O'Connor, a great novelist and southern author. She is one of my all-time favorite writers.

The number one rule of being an art major, is that you MUST be willing to stay extremely late to meet a deadline. Perfection, perfection, perfection.

Go Bravos!

Got to see a double-header, Braves and Mets at Turner Field for my Dad's birthday. It was such an awesome weekend.

You'll need a sharpener...

Here are some grave rubbings I did in the milledgeville cemetery.

C/O 2011

So, I was graced with the pleasure of taking my cousin Megan's senior pictures today. They came out fabulous. It didn't hurt either that she was highly photogenic. :)

Cup-thing.

This is by-far my most prized piece. The container itself is perfect, and the aesthetics are pleasing. It's wonderful. No one can touch it, sorry.

Cephalopod.

I made this one day when I was bored.

Roxy.

This is my parent's Boston Terrier, Roxy. She's hangin out in the pool, it was hot.

This is a little sculpture replica of Roxy. Glazed in Morris black, she's on her side, perhaps itching herself in the grass.
